Prime Hi-tech Engineering Ltd. is in the process of setting up a modern and state-of-the-art engineering / fabrication unit to produce power energy equipment components such as, Power transformer tanks upto 1000 MVA / 800 KV, turbine blades and guide blade carrier assembly for upto 500 MW and Drill bits for mining, oil & gas sectors. This project is being set up in joint venture with a European business house. These heavy fabrication and engineering facilities will be operational in the last quarter of the current year 2011.

The unit will also have the latest and most modern CRGO cutting & slitting plant from Georg of Germany for manufacture of Transformer laminations. This part of the project is scheduled to be operational by April, 2011.

Prime Hi-tech Engineering Ltd. has already acquired suitable land for this unit in the Speical Economic Zone (SEZ) Naidupet, District Nellore in the Southern State of Andhra in close proximity to Tirupati. The location of this project is just 70 KM, from a large seaport called krishnapatnam and in close proximity to Ennore and Chennai sea ports.
